MineChem adds many new items, these are compounds and molecules. These items behave akin to potions, and are "brewed" in a chemical synthesizer and can give any effect available in minecraft. Some are fuels, while others are bases for more complex compounds. This can make experimenting in minechem very useful, as compounds with powerful effects and high burn-times can be found.
